Information Seeking Strategies
Identify sources of information – maps, primary source documents, charts, biographies, literary criticism, encyclopedia entries, and interviews. Determine which of your sources contains information related to your topic. You should eliminate some sources as you progress in your research, as not all of them will be relevant. As you narrow down your sources, remember to keep them varied in order to have many perspectives on your topic. Place your sources in order of their expected usefulness.
